The two new knife blades have their advantages, too, and I found even some uses for the medical spoon sometimes... The Victorinox people say this knife (and the XXLT) are made for collectors, not for usage, which seems plausible with the XXLT, but the XLT is a really useful companion for all kinds of situations, I would hate to have to come by without it.
