Origin: Islay (South shore)
One of our first Single Malts. We got it as a gift when we did not know yet about Single Malts. Luckily we did not drink much of it until we were initiated into the secrets of Single tasting! We named one of our tomcats, born June 1998, Lagavulin (shortened to Vuly or Fully). One of the "Classic Malts" series.
Dark orange.
Islay: Simply great. So complex, so interesting.
Islay: Dark, full, complex, dry, sweet, salty, everything. Still perfectly rounded.
Range is 0 to 100 (0 would mean awful, 100 means the very best)
