Bowmore

Legend

Distillery: Bowmore

Origin: Islay (Loch Indaal)

Bowmore

General Remarks

An affordable Single Malt, just great.

Visual Appearance

White box, white label, looks modern.

Its Nosing

Very complex nosing. Ocean, salt, thyme, ...

Its Taste

Rough, but interesting. Many different components. Some relationship to Lagavulin, but not so rounded. Raw power! But not as brute as Laphroaig. Starts peppery and smokey, develops salt, seaweed, peat, finally converts to a sweetish finale.

Score

Range is 0 to 100 (0 would mean awful, 100 means the very best)
